123rd Annual Brenham Maifest

Bring the entire family and enjoy one of the oldest German Festivals in Texas! A colorful parade, spectacular performances, "all you can eat" Blue Bell ice cream, German food and live entertainment, arts and crafts booths, kid's activities at the "hand's on" German Village and lots of family fun!
Check the website for schedule details. Parade starts at 10:30 in Downtown Brenham, All other Festival Activities are at Fireman's Park.

You'll find unique and beautiful artisan wares such as one of a kind pieces of hand crafted jewelry by Linda Wallace to cutting boards and furniture created from local oak, pecan and black walnut made by Burton Millworks. Plus home fragrance Smelly Jellies by the Burton Candle Co. Fresh from the farm, yard eggs, arugula, kale, swiss chard and lettuce. There will even be all natural, grass fed beef from Berry Hill Farm. One of the best parts of the market is the fresh baked country bread from the Brazos Belle Restaurant for only $5, one smell will have you sold! This is just a sampling, there's plenty more available at the Burton Market. While you're there take a tour of the historic Railroad Depot and check out the archeological dig that is currently happening on site.
