Texas Ranger Day & A Big Star Texas Night

Celebrate Burton’s history and honor former and current Texas Rangers. We’ll get started at 3pm with gun slingin' re-enactments by the Old West Rangers at the Train Depot. Then a fajita and bean cook-off from 4-6pm - for $10 you can eat all you want! Silent auction from 3-6pm and live auction as well. Cotton Gin Tours at 10am and 2pm. Stray Katz Cruise-In Car Show will also be in town! And starting at 7pm the Anthony Moreno Band and the Wooten Marshall Band will play until the crowd thins ($10 admission).
Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a day of family fun with Texas Ranger living history, folk life demonstrations, crafts and games for the kids, and live entertainment. Proceeds benefit the Burton Heritage Society and the Burton Chamber of Commerce.
