The public is invited to come meet and watch artists working in Chappell Hill on Main Street, the Historical Society Museum, and other select Washington County locations. Selected artists will produce a "Wildflower" piece during the Artwalk. Their work will be voted on by jurors and the public for awards.

Come celebrate July 4th in Chappell Hill at the Annual Biggest Small Town Parade in Texas! Featuring the World Famous Marching Kazoo Band, the parade starts at 10am. The Chappell Hill Historical Society will once again host the Summer Cowboy Event. The Rocking T Chuck wagon, Cowboy Bob, pony rides, petting zoo, oxen demonstrations and a food and beverage vendor will be featured this year. All activities and exhibits are free. The Scarecrow Festival boasts more than 250 juried exhibitors (home decor, gardening, artists, craftsmen, jewelry, clothing, etc.), delicious country-style food, live entertainment and music, and tours of the historic community. A special Children’s Activity Corner provides pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, barrel train and more. Free admission; Parking $5. Saturday 9-6, Sunday 10-5.

Save the date for the Chappell Hill Garden Club’s 2019 Christmas Home Tour. The Club has secured five homes that will be part of the tour, the Shimmer Flute Choir will perform once again in the Providence Baptist Church as will the First Baptist Church Choir.
