The Chamber Music Trio will perform on the Festival Concert Hall stage on Saturday, August 24. Featuring Louis-Marie Fardet, cello; Chavdar Parashkevov, violin; and Viktor Valkov, piano, the trio will perform music by Brahms and Tchaikovsky. Louis-Marie Fardet was appointed Cellist of the Houston Symphony in January 2015. Previously, he served as Assistant Principal Cellist for the Houston Grand Opera and Ballet since 2006, and prior to moving to Houston, he was a tenured member of L’Opéra de Paris Orchestra for five years.…

Violinist, Tomas Cotik will perform a solo concert on the Festival Concert Hall stage at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 26. Repertoire to be announced. Dr. Tomas Cotik is internationally recognized as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. He has performed hundreds of recitals and chamber music concerts across the globe. The Houston Brass Band will perform on the Festival Concert Hall stage at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 16. Repertoire to be announced. The Houston Brass Band was formed in 2000 by several brass music enthusiasts, inspired by the British film Brassed Off, and was a casual ensemble.
